so if you are tax exempt is this only sales tax? we still have to pay our taxes at the end of the year or quarterly etc. correct? & my next question is if we are tax exempt, when we do file our taxes are we going to have to pay in more because of this? & will we still be able to write off those items that were purchased without sales tax? for example if i pay 40,000 for a truck when i file can i still subtract that 40,000 off of what i pay in?

I'm starting my own Dump Truck company out of Georgia how would I go about getting the standard rates to charge for jobs hourly, or by the mile. I would be hauling dirt, gravel asphalt, rocks etc. I'm honestly trying to put together me my rate sheet to compare prices.

What paperwork is required from the owner operators when they sign onto an authority? Ucr, dot and mc, boc, ifta, registration, permits, etc. Owner ops just need truck registration, right

i have an insurance agent arguing with me saying i will be fine filing my insurance upto 80 days after filing for my authority. im freaking out, because it has gone past 21 days, im waiting for this check to hit so i can pay 6months down, is this true? or am i screwed? will re-applying make me look bad to brokers? like i had a closed mc#. or am i going to be okay getting my insurance at like day 30?

I’m in California my buddy put me on game lowkey saying I should open up a llc as a independent contractor $800 a year, using 1099 so I can work on my credit and work on my llc to possibly get a business loan to get my own truck. Is that how it works? Also I have two babies now so it’ll also help for taxes and all that?
